Week 36!

Today I am 36 weeks! Its crazy how fast and how slow time has gone. Time went by super fast until I hit 30 weeks. At 30 weeks I swear time has stopped. I am so ready to have this baby! I seriously can't wait to meet him! Glen and I are both so excited. Glen feels the same way that time has stopped. Today I was thinking next week I'll be considered not preterm anymore... I guess its time to start jumping on trampolines! LoL. I have heard of everything to get the baby to come early, but I feel he'll come when he is ready (even though coming early would be GLORIOUS). I keep saying that I am going to have him the weekend of November 4. Our niece wants him to come on the 4th cause that's her birthday! Its cute! If I can make it til the 4th then I'll only have to go back to student teach for a week and life will be a lot easier. Here is how mommy and baby are at 36 weeks:
  • I'm huge! Sometimes I look at myself and just laugh because my belly just really sticks out!
  • From behind you cant tell I am pregnant. Funny story: Glen and I were at Best Buy and I was playing X Box connect, I looked behind me and noticed that I had an audience of a couple guys cheering me on. When I turned around they looked at me and my belly and had a look of shock on their faces. Glen and I thought it was funny.
  • I never knew I would go potty so much. It seems like he decides to sit on my bladder at night so that I have to get up non stop
  • He till has a thing for my ribs. If you push down right next to my ribs he will kick your hand away.
  • He is still super active and I swear he is not going to slow down
  • He responds to when Glen gets home. I swear he knows Glens voice cause when he gets home he becomes more active. He also kicks if Glen sticks his hand on my belly.
  • I'm getting child baring hips! I keep getting these sharp pains in my groin, the dr says its cause the baby is pushing down on my hips.. so I say Im getting child baring hips! lol
  • My braxton hicks have turned into contractions. They aren't consistant but Ill get these sharp pains that hurt, dr says im starting to experience contractions. The only advice I got at my last appointment was " If you go into labor, go to the hospital." oh thanks! How much do you get paid? lol.
  • Super excited! Can't wait! 4 more weeks! Maybe less!

  1. Babies are very true to character in the womb and out. Kaylise moved almost non stop and she has been my most active baby. It's fun to feel them respond to you. We are very excited to meet the little guy too. As for the tricks to get them to come early... you get really fit and really tired and the baby comes when he feels like! Good luck with everything.
