sure do miss him..

I know I always say this.. but I really do need to better at this blogging thing. Maybe im just not a good blogger, but I thought I would update my blog for once. To start out I miss Glen more than anything! I didn't think it would be this hard to be away from him, and thought time would go by fast, but I guess I was wrong. Last weekend I couldn't take it anymore and some how talked my friend Jami and her husband into driving down to see  him. Yes we drove 12 hours there and 12 hours back to see him for 2 1/2 days. It was great!! He had no Idea that I was coming. It was the best surprise! I'm usually not good at keeping secrets from him, so good thing it was a spur of the moment decision. So here's how the surprise went....
Tuesday night I was sitting at Jami's house we out of the blue I  asked her if she would want to go see Glen with me ( thinking she would say no, and saying it almost half kidding) she said yes and that we would just have to talk Rob into it! We sat for him to come home from school and sweet talked Rob into our adventure! We decided to leave Thursday morning at 6:00 am. I was so excited!! I was trying so hard not to tell him.. It was so hard! Thursday finally came! Glen called me in the morning like he always does to leave me a good morning message. I wanted to answer but he would have known something was up cause im never up that early. We drove.. drove.. and drove some more. My plan was not to tell him until I got there, I was going to wait for him to go to dinner and wait by the entrance and yell down to him. I knew he goes and eats around 6:30ish so we needed to get there by then. We were about 45 minuets outside of Artesia and it was about 6:00. I was getting nervous cause I was so excited and was worried that my plan wasn't going to work out. So.. I may or may not have pressed on the gas a little more and made it there by 6:30. I was freaking out. I was talking to Glen on the phone. I so badly just wanted to yell through the phone I'M HERE!!! but, I kept my cool and just waited outside the gates for him to walk across the street. Glen was taking his sweet old time. (not know the best surprise of his life was about to happen. LOL). The guards were laughing at me cause I was so excited. I finally saw him walking, as he was about to walk across the street I said "Are you about to walk across the street?" he said yes. I then told him to look over. He got really excited and was like ARE YOU HERE!! I was jumping up and down and was so excited to see him!! He looked so happy!  We had a lot of fun just being able to be together even though it was for a short time. I hate being away from him and cant wait til we can be together! Im counting down the days!
